From Newcastle follow the A1 north until you pick up signs for the A697. Stay on this road for about 50 miles and will drive straight into the village of Millfield.
From Edinburgh head south and get onto the A68. Stay on this road until you pick up signs for the A697. About 9 miles after you cross the border you will enter the village.
